26 years ago, my roommate Lina was born with a small hole in her heart that never fully closed.
Being 26, it made sense to pursue the less "serious" of the options, and make the trek out to Cleveland.
Her, her parents, and I made the 6 hour drive out to Cleveland, and planned to be home within 2 days.

Though we've been together almost 3 years longer than what today signifies and celebrate what we call our real anniversary in October, Kim and I were married 23 years ago today.
So, for almost 26 years (which is half my lifetime), I've been with her and cannot imagine what it be like without her.
