Exposure was based on three factors: 1) the use of the contaminated ground water that determined the human exposure route(s), 2) the length of time the ground water was used (period of exposure), and 3) the types and amounts of volatile organic compounds and boron in the water during the exposure period.
Based on this concentration and assuming 1 L/day and 2 L/day ingestion (dermal contact was not considered a health threat at these concentrations and inhalation is not an issue because boron is not volatile) of tap water for children and adults, the exposure dose for boron is 0.058 mg/kg/day and 0.037 mg/kg/day, respectively.

 The 2 Ohm Problem
This is called the "E12 series", consisting of resistors with the following values (ohms): 10 12 15 18 22 27 33 39 47 56 68 82 100 120 150 180 220 270 330 390 470 560 680 820 1000 1200 1500 1800 2200 2700 3300 3900 4700 5600 6800 8200 etc....
In general, we seek to determine the ways of combining distinct E12 resistors in parallel so as to yield an integer overall resistance.
In general, is it possible to express 1/R as a sum of inverses of distinct "E12 integers" for any R that's composed entirely of E12 primes?

Temperature - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
1 The temperature of a gas is a measure of the average kinetic energy of its atoms or molecules as they move and collide.
K. For everyday applications, it is often convenient to use the Celsius scale, in which 0 °C corresponds to the temperature at which water freezes and 100 °C corresponds to the boiling point of water at sea level.
In this scale a temperature difference of 1 degree is the same as a 1 K temperature difference, so the scale is essentially the same as the Kelvin scale, but offset by the temperature at which water freezes (273.15 K).

We first illustrate an Eisenstein series in M_(12)(1) that is congruent to 1 modulo 3.

SingaporeMoms - Parenting Encyclopedia - Cosmic microwave background radiation
The CMB gives a snapshot of the Universe when, according to standard cosmology, the temperature dropped enough to allow electrons and protons to form hydrogen atoms, thus making the universe transparent to radiation.
When it originated some 400,000 years after the Big Bang -- this time period is generally known as the "time of last scattering" or the period of recombination or decoupling -- the temperature of the Universe was about 3000 K.
Since then the temperature of the radiation has dropped by a factor of roughly 1100 due to the expansion of the Universe.
