Today, a more common term for this issue is "euthanasia." More and more seriously ill people are turning to this alternative to relieve their pain, including cancer patients.
Many people suffering from cancer feel that they cannot endure any more cancer treatments and therefore choose to take their life.
Euthanasia is a term used for mercy killing, "taking the life of the hopelessly ill or injured individual in order to end his or her suffering [1]." There are many different categories of euthanasia.

Needless to say, I was suitably impressed by the quality of the CG in the sequences and judging by the large amount of people busily recording all of it on their camcorders, it would be a safe bet to say that many others were too.
Moving along, we encountered Konami’s area of E3, where yet another large screen was displaying clips from their upcoming Silent Hill II and Metal Gear Solid 2.
At the moment, the E3 build of Sigma looks pretty good and enough of it is playable for people to get an idea of what it will be like when finished.

A very tiring 1st day of the E3 has passed, and despite some aggravating server problems, the show was great.
Of course people who have never seen a PS2 in real life were clamoring to get their hands on a Dual Shock 2 and test out those games.
People seemed very disappointed at what Sony had on display.

There seemed to be a tiny bit of graphical slowdown in certain situations, and the shadows had a tendency to bounce around unnaturally (as if someone was waving a strobe light back and forth in front of the mechs) but these minor issues will hopefully be resolved in their final build.
Before we knew it however, the E3 security guards were busy shooing people out of the convention centre and we all had to reluctantly leave as the exhibits were shut down one by one.

People have social relations to help them survive in the world.
Whether it be a man and a woman in love, two friends, or a student sucking up to his teacher, people need these relationships with other people to go on in life.
Many people may think that their social relationships help them through life, but maybe they should start looking at how relationships in their body help them actually live.

In this book, Sofsky indeed indicates that the overwhelming majority of perpetrators of the violence and brutalization of Jews were such ordinary and average people, that they were later accepted by civil society, leading normal lives next to their neighbours.
His book convincingly delineates the structures that allowed and encouraged the practice of terror and crimes against humanity in the Holocaust and constitutes an important warning for the present and the future.

For example, they both tend to narrow one’s range of attention, they both have connections with how we learn, and they both assign high priority to just one of a person’s many goals.
And paradoxically, once we recognize this complexity, this can show us ways to explain why pleasure and pain might seem similar if (as we’ll try to show in Chapter §9) we can represent both of them as results that come from similar kinds of machinery.
People often use hurting, pain and suffering as though those conditions were almost the same, and differ mainly in degree.
