After 1 e4 e5 2 f4 exf4 3 Nf3 (two chapters are devoted to the other branches) Emms considers just two lines: the classical 3...g5 and, interestingly, 3...h6 rather than the better-known Fischer line 3...d6.
After 5 e5 d5 6 Bb5 Ne4 7 Nxd4 he deals briefly with the main move 7...Bd7 but his repertoire recommendation is 7...Bc5.
