 | | Comp 1007 is a Category 8 Lib Ed and as such analyzes contemporary issues and their relationship to individuals and/or social institutions in economic, political, educational, or religious systems. |
 | | Students are expected to be prepared for each class meeting (meaning you've prepared any outside reading or assignment for the day and are ready to discuss it), to attend class regularly, to participate in class discussion and peer workshops, and to turn in all assignments in a timely manner. |
 | | The readings are not too strenuous, but you will often be asked to do additional outside work (not listed here) as the course shapes itself through our discussions. |
