		I played with the 1030 for several days, using both the Microsoft Optical mouse, and the Razor Boomslang, to compare the two surface textures.
		I found the Boomslang got on target slightly faster thanks to the improved grip on the mouse ball, and optical mouse benefited from the smooth surface on the opposite side of the 1030.
		My only complaint with the 1030 comes when moving it, the mousing surface tends to fall out of the rubber base, since the base is a soft, pliable material.
