The Norman conquest of England was the conquest of the Kingdom of England by William the Conqueror (Duke of Normandy), in 1066 at the Battle of Hastings and the subsequent Norman control of England.
Normandy was a region in northwest France which in the 155 years prior to 1066 had experienced extensive Viking settlement.
William finally landed at Pevensey in Sussex on September 28, 1066 and assembled a prefabricated wooden castle near Hastings as a base.

The 1066 seemed a bit more complex but since I am a electronics/computer junky it only took a little longer and a few posts from some good people here at the HTF to get things setup right.
I also like the location of the amplifier line outputs on the 1066, they are on the left hand side looking at the back of the unit which makes them line up with the XLR connectors on my QSC amps better.
The 1066 currently does not detect the EX bit stream but the software upgrade is report to fix this problem and I will update this section of the review after I perform the upgrade tomorrow.
