In terms of tree damage, it apparently wasn't that impressive, probably because the November 10th storm had stripped the trees of most of their weak branches and twigs, as well as the leaves from the deciduous species, making them have less resistance to the wind.
And, indeed, for those who endured the November 10th storm in SW Oregon, they'd probably balk at the idea that the Thanksgiving Storm was the more promenant one of the month.
For the November 1983 series of Pacific cyclones, a person living in Eugene could claim November 13 as the "big one," but someone in San Francisco might make a similar claim for November 10, and for a Seattleite, it would probably be November 24.

On arrival back to Fethard on Sunday evening the O’Dwyer Cup and the team paraded around the town and each player was presented to the general public holding the cup aloft in front of the Town Hall.

On the 10th of November, Intel will cut prices on its Celerons, while the Pentium 4 itself will stabilise on pricing "well into Q1 of next year".
The 2.2GHz Celeron will cost $103, the 2.1 $89, and the 2.0 will drop to $83, the 1.8GHz to $69, the 1.7GHz to $54, while the 1.4GHz and 1.3GHz will be the "disappeared Celerons" because they will cost the same as the 1.7GHz on that date.
