I got this load years ago from O. McKagen -- who swore by it in the old fl powder cartridge military rifles -- from.45 caliber to 11 mm and.50 caliber.

I measured some of these weapons and the actual caliber is 7,5 mm, so I do not know the reason of the document saying that the caliber is 7,7 mm.
These included a musket for the heavy infantry, a short musket (carabina) for the light infantry, a carbine with bayonet (mosquetão) for the artillery and a carbine without bayonet (clavina) for the cavalry (this last weapon began to be replaced by the Spencer during the Paraguayan War).
