| | GC 1131 |
 | | GC 1131 is a four-credit introductory biology course designed to help you develop your own understanding and appreciation of several major concepts of biology, including biodiversity, evolution, ecology, cells, genetics, inheritance, and molecular biology. |
 | | However, because GC 1131 is a science course, I also want to help you develop your own understanding of what science is, what science can (and cannot) do, and how science has been used. |
 | | GC 1131 is an approved part of the Diversified Core Curriculum (Biological Science with laboratory) and is writing-intensive. |
