		1208 was the sanctuary for a band of creative outsiders striving to live life with rules they would write, challenge and make themselves.
		From the now scattered origins of 1208, 5 individuals were selected to take over Minnow - formerly SkateNerd's Minnow - and recreate it as if it were their own, drawing from their creative crypts and experiences in the professional worlds in which they have worked.

		1208 attempt to expand their sound on their sophomore record, and while they succeed in breaking their mold, it doesn't necessarily mean they made a good record.
		The main problem with this record is that the band shaves off most of their rougher edges (which really weren't that particularly rough in the first place), eases up the intensity and concentrates on vocal harmonies, catchy choruses and clean melodies.
		Granted, 1208 is a touch more rocking and not quite as annoying as your average Blink 182 clone, but they're not nearly edgy enough to break free from derivativeness.

		I had a dvdrw 1208 and philips offers an even exchange for the dvdrw228 which writes both +r/+rw.
		Yes The 1208 can only copy to +RW's, but in the U.S. at least philips will exchange the 1208 for a DVDRW228 which can write to a +R or +RW, it is an even exchange.
