		A better approach for Democrats would be to set a date certain for U.S. withdrawal from Iraq, and then present a plan for investing the tens or hundreds of billions thus saved in non-military tools of security.

		123 Democratic Alliance (一二三民主聯盟) was a pro-Kuomintang political party in the Hong Kong.
		Due to lack of funding, the party did not file any candidates in the 2000 LegCo elections (although some of the losers continued to take part as independent participants or supporters of other parties), and was subsequently dissolved on 3 December 2000.
		The last chairman of the alliance was Tai Cheuk-yin Leslie Spencer.

		Quantitative analyses supporting the democratic peace (with regards to interstate wars) are particularly convincing because (a) they find significantly less wars occurring than are expected, and (b) these results are highly statistically significant.
