	NGC 1275 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		NGC 1275 is a Seyfert galaxy located around 235 million light years away in the direction of the constellation Perseus.
		In fact, a spiral galaxy is colliding with an elliptical galaxy, causing gravitational stresses on each and leading to the formation of new stars.
		NGC 1275 has been studied by the Hubble Space Telescope in 1995 and 2001.

		It's a mahogany body and neck I think and the fingerboard is rosewood or somesuch but those things have never mattered to me. The only questions are, is it playable and does it sound nice, and the answers are yes to both.
		Initially I bought the 1275 just to have, to look cool and add to my collection of Page-ish guitars, Tele, Les Paul, Dano etc, but I've recently been using it a lot when recording in my home studio, though really only the 12 string.
		I use other electric for the tough stuff as the SG is a bitch to sit comfortably with, is heavy and too fussy to solo on comfortably.
