OCCULTATION BY (1312) VASSAR - 2004 SEP 03
On 2004 Sep 03 UT, the 36 km diameter asteroid (1312) Vassar will occult a 10.9 mag star in the constellation Piscis Austrinus for observers along a path across Australia.
In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 3.3 mag to 14.1 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 2.9 seconds.

In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 4.0 mag to 15.1 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 3.8 seconds.
