Authorities in Hong Kong are investigating the death of an elderly man apparently suffering from the atypical pneumonia, the symptoms of which include a high fever, chills, a cough and breathing problems.
In total the virus is thought to have killed 14 people, and put hundreds more in intensive care.
There are reports of new cases in China, where the disease may have originated, and in Germany and Britain among other countries.

[Psalm 14] The lament (duplicated in Psalm 53) depicts the world as consisting of two types of people: "the fools" (= the wicked, Psalm 14:1-3) and "the company of the just" (Psalm 14:4-6; also called "my people," and "the poor").
The wicked persecute the just, but the psalm expresses the hope that God will punish the wicked and reward the good.
