OCCULTATION BY (1408) TRUSANDA - 2005 OCT 03
On 2005 Oct 03 UT, the 32 km diameter asteroid (1408) Trusanda will occult a 9.0 mag star in the constellation Scorpius for observers along a path across Western Australia passing near Geraldton.
In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 8.3 mag to 17.3 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 1.0 seconds.
