Asteroid 15 Eunomia (~mag.8) was 1/2° east of 46 Xi Pegasi, so I figured I could find this easily.
Coming back within reason, I set my power to 30x to make a mental note of the position of the minor planet among the mostly 8-11th magnitude stars in the field for later reference.
The asteroid 15 Eunomia was only slightly further southeast of it's original position.
