The Special Rapporteur considers that the best environment for most children to grow up in is within a family, and that the adoption by a parent or parents of a child who does not have a family able to look after him or her is a commendable and noble action.
Coerced relinquishment of parental rights for purpose of procuring children for adoption has been the ultimate "government interference into the family." Upon relinquishing their parental rights to give up their child for adoption, no parent is guaranteed privacy or lifelong anonymity by any adoption attorney, facilitator or agency.

James I of England - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Before his accession to the English throne, he had written The True Law of Free Monarchies, in which he argued that the divine right of kings was sanctioned by the apostolic succession, and which illustrates James' difficulty in sharing the power of his government.
In the early years of his reign, many of his subjects did not know his policies—only that he had an extreme Protestant background—there were a number of plots to remove him from power, such as the Bye Plot and the Main Plot.
When James declared that the lower House had overstepped its bounds by offering unsolicited advice, the House of Commons passed a protest claiming that it had the right to debate any matter relating to the welfare of the Kingdom.

Free Press : More gay celebrities in ads
The mainstreaming of gay and lesbian endorsers also comes after major advertisers like Ford and Procter & Gamble have sponsored campaigns aimed at the gay and lesbian market; after Martina Navratilova appeared in niche-market ads for Subaru of America, for instance, she also started appearing in the carmaker’s broader campaigns.
Still, the trend is accelerating as the national debate over gay marriage turns contentious and polarizing, potentially exposing advertisers to complaints that by hiring gay and lesbian endorsers, they are themselves endorsing what the critics describe as the homosexual agenda.
The trend confronts another challenge, from gay men and lesbians who worry that the way their better-known counterparts are presented in ads may reinforce stereotypes of homosexuals as flighty fashionistas obsessed with style and surfaces.
