	Commodore 1571 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The Commodore 1571 was arguably Commodore's finest 5¼" floppy disk drive, having the ability to use double-sided disks without the need to remove them and turn them over ("flippy disk") as in the previous Commodore drives on which it was based (Commodore 1541, 1570).
		The 1571 was released to match the Commodore 128, both design-wise and feature-wise.
		When used with a Commodore 64, the 1571 came up in 1541 compatibility mode by default and it was necessary to type a software command to switch the drive to double-sided 1571 mode.

	Cyprus History: Ottoman Period
		In the spring of 1570, the Ottoman fleet divided into three squadrons, crisscrossed the Aegean to hide its intentions and then united to carry the occupation force across to the southern coast of Cyprus, but in the background was the continuous expectation on both sides of intervention by the Christian fleet based at Crete.
		It came in October 1571 when virtually entire Ottoman fleet was destroyed at Lepanto, 10 weeks after Famagusta had fallen to a 13-month siege.
		The conquest of 1571 of the island by the Ottoman Turks was a liberation for the bulk of the Greek Orthodox population.

	Bogen 3039, Gitzo 1570, and Gitzo 1571- Which is best?
		I'm really leaning toward the 1571 because the two other models have a restricted back tilt of only 20 degrees (the 1571 has 60 degree back tilt).
		I am however worried that the 1571 will not be able to provide as solid a support as the other two models.
		If the 1571 is the newest version of the 1570 I'll vouch for it; I had one briefly before I switched to an Arca Swiss B2.

		At any rate, this ELCA is in an area that's generally pretty conservative so I wonder if he has much of a congregation left as it is a small church.
