 Humbul full record view for -- SCETI : science, the occult, and religion
Part of the facsimile archiving project at the Schoenberg Center for Electronic Text and Image (SCETI), University of Pennsylvania Library, this is a small collection of online facsimiles of primary print texts and manuscripts, from the fifteenth through to the eighteenth centuries, relating to natural philosophy, magic, alchemy and religion.
The scanned images are finely detailed and carefully produced; background information, and explanatory notes on pagination, printing errors and so forth are provided where appropriate.
The Humbul Humanities Hub is a service of the Resource Discovery Network funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee, the Arts and Humanities Research Council, and is hosted by the University of Oxford.

This page fills a gap that I noticed, in the lack of online science textbooks and historical works: the viewer is directed to the different sites using the approximate date that the book was written.
Even at the most general level the number of science books online is disproportionately small in comparison to the number of books online in almost any other sphere of interest.
I have deliberately been very inclusive, so that all the traditional areas of science are represented.
