Well monday has been here and nearly gone, the Self Portrait Challange has been illuminating (thankyou Ray), the macro flora challenge is now up (thankyou Joy), the May Project which is a scavenger hunt is away and running too (thankyou Sue).
I started to sort images to show you our inland trip however I find I must cull eveb more I think that 120 images would be classed as forum flooding doncha think.
a positive attitude may not solve your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Region 10759, now nearing the central solar meridian, spawned a major class M8.0 solar x-ray flare at 16:57 UTC on 13 May. The event was associated with strong radio bursts across the spectrum.
Given our proximity to the solar minimum and the decreasing frequency of auroral storm events, it may be prudent to watch the skies carefully for activity this weekend (particularly on Saturday and Sunday nights).
I have been fooled by the northern lights in the past, where what I thought were clouds at the time turned out to be green and red bands once the photos were developed.

"Although it may not be known for some time whether West Ham United will be in the play-offs, The FA did not want to inconvenience the clubs and the supporters reaching the Final by delaying any decision.
The Final of The FA Trophy, in partnership with Carlsberg, will be played at Aston Villa FC on Sunday, 23rd May. The climax to non-League’s premier cup competition has been played at Villa Park in the previous three seasons.

The colleague of a friend is married to a Mexican from the Sierra Madre Occidental and goes twice a year to the area.
From old accounts relating to both they were apparently considered, quoting now, "by some crackers, better than duck." I don't know what exactly a "cracker" is, but I believe it is southern (U.S.) slang for "poor white trash".
