Classical Net - Basic Repertoire List - Albinoni
A lifelong resident of Venice, Albnoni married an opera singer, Margherita Raimondi (d 1721), and composed as many as 81 operas several of which were performed in northern Europe from the 1720s onwards.
Ten collections of instrumental works were however published, meeting with considerable success and consequent reprints; thus it is as a composer of instrumental music (99 sonatas, 71 concertos and 9 sinfonias) that he is known today.

Some survivors move to older villages to the east and in Canada.
Although Passamaquoddy's traditional lands had been in Canada prior to the Revolution War, a treaty with Massachusetts gives the tribe some parcels in Maine.
The treaty is never ratified by Congress because both Massachusetts and the federal government viewed Maine natives are "domesticated Indians," and not the federal government's responsibility.

In all probability and according to historian Regis Roy and Gerard Malchosse, Germain Gauthier came to Canada in 1665 as a soldier in the regiment Carignan-Salieres, and would have been in the Companie de M.de Contrecoeur.
But the most positive and long term result of the arrival of the famous regiment in Canada, was the addition to the population provided by those officers and soldiers who chose to remain here as settlers.
The same document also tells us that Denise remained with the minors of whom she took care, in the house on Notre-Dame street, and that Francois lived at the Cote de St-Joseph on the paternal concession which he worked as a farmer for half profit.

From 1716 to 1721, Roman studied in London where he was exposed to the music of Handel, Pepusch, Bononcini, Ariosti, etc.) Upon his return to Stockholm, he was named Assistant Court Conductor and by 1727 he was elevated to Prinicpal Court Conductor.
Beginning in 1721, he instituted the first public performances of concertos, suites, and sinfonias, and by 1731 he was staging oratorios in Stockholm.
