Evolutionary psychology: An emerging integrative perspective within the science and practice of psychology by Leif ...
Symons (1992, p 156) conclusion is that the adaptations are psychological, and therefore “A science of human behavior cannot be simultaneously psychological agnostic and genuinely Darwinian.” Cosmides and Tooby (1987) provided the missing link between the evolutionary process and manifest behaviour: the mental mechanism or psychological adaptation.
The result of the SSSM is lack of communicability between the social and natural sciences, due to an acceptance of a core dualism (Tooby and Cosmides, 1992).
Whether EP is a new school of thought, which would cause a shift of paradigm within the science of psychology, or a comprehensive reorganisation of existing biological and psychological empirical findings and theory remains to be seen.

Dialogue, according to Barbour, "is a diverse group of views that go beyond the Independence model but portray relationships between science and religion that are not as close or as direct as those in the Integration model." [2] The problem with Dialogue is that it does not go far enough.
