Wright's typical prairie house was long and horizontal in form with low-pitched hip roofs and wide projecting eaves, a central portion of the house rising slightly higher than the flanking wings, with banks of windows and wide-open floor plans and large central hearth.

 New York Architecture Images- FRAUNCES TAVERN
Built on the site of the Etienne de Lancey estate (1719), the current is a 20th century recreation of a historical building.
Mersereau's reconstruction (following the fire of 1900) is a conjectural rebuilding of the original Fraunces Tavern, in other words, it is a 20th century interpretation of the general characteristics of Georgian Style architecture.
Fraunces Tavern was originally built as a house for Oliver de Lancey, a member of the prominent Delancey family that contended with the Livingstons for leadership in colonial New York.

He was born in Warwick, Rhode Island 1777, but in 1794 left and moved to Providence during a major period of growth in the city.

 Chinese Architecture: Emin Minaret, Turpan
It is located a short distance east of the city of Turpan (Turfan, or Tulufan) and near the ancient Uygur capital of Gaochang and the cave temples of Bezeklik along the ancient Silk Road.
The minaret had its beginnings in 1777 during the reign of Turfan’s ruler, the hereditary headmen, Emin Khoja (or Goja), probably because of his quelling a rebellion against the Manchu Qianlong emperor.
It was completed in the next year by his son, Suleman, hence the name Su Gong Ta (Prince Su Pagoda), It was designed by the Uygur architect Ibrahim in a pre-Safavid Iranian, some suggest Afghani, style.

He was appointed the first Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, and later became Governor of the State of New York.
