		Strickland, an outstanding exponent of the Greek Revival in America acquired his architectural training under the renowned Benjamin Latrobe In 1836 Strickland had been one of the organizers and the first president of the American Institution of Architects, the organization which anticipated the later founding (1857) of the American Institute of Architects.
		"The architecture of the building consists of a Doric basement, four Ionic porticoes, two of eight and two of six columns four feet in diameter, surmounted by a Corinthian tower in the center of the roof, the whole height of which is to be 170 feet from the summit of the site.
		The future architecture of the Tennessee Valley is indicated by the city of Norris, where a new standard for rural existence is being set.

		The wings were completed in 1802 and shortly thereafter the Lewis family moved into the north wing.
		When completed, the house incorporated architectural elements reminiscent of Kenmore, Lawrence Lewis' childhood home, and was furnished primarily with pieces from Mount Vernon.
		The house was constructed by slaves using bricks formed and fired on the plantation in a kiln located on the grounds.

		Gothic Revival Architecture was an architectural movement, or style, in which forms and details of buildings were derived from the Gothic style of the Middle Ages.
		In the last 60 years of the 19th century this architectural style was often called Victorian, after Queen Victoria (1819-1901), during whose reign (1837-1901) it was built.
		The movement was given great impetus when the Queen insisted that architects Sir Charles Barry (1795-1860) and Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin (1812-1852) use the Gothic Revival style for English Houses of Parliament, which were designed in 1836 and completed in 1860.

		The unpopular regime collapsed in the British annexation of Mandalay and Upper Burma in 1885.
		The Paya is also famous for the Iron Buddha Sandamani cast by King Bodawpay (1782-1819) of the Konbaung dynasty in 1802, and which King Mindon and brought from Amarapura to his new pagoda and shrine in 1874.
		This was the seventh and last of the many journeys of the Iron Buddha, frequently moved because of wars and the shift of capitals in the nineteenth century.

		It was possible to jump to any memory location by placing a new address into any free register, and set this register as a program counter.
		This trick was usually used when there was a need to call a subroutine as the microprocessor didn't have a dedicated "call subroutine" instruction.
