OCCULTATION BY (1844) SUSILVA - 2005 JAN 20
On 2005 Jan 20 UT, the 21 km diameter asteroid (1844) Susilva will occult a 7.8 mag star in the constellation Taurus for observers along a path across Australia, SE Asia, India.
In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 8.1 mag to 15.9 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 2.8 seconds.
