MARTIN, Tenn. --- The grades for the fall semester are in and the men's cross country and the women's volleyball teams at Tennessee-Martin sported the highest grade-point averages (GPA) among the 16 teams at the university that compete for NCAA or NIRA championships.
In all, nine of the 16 teams finished the fall semester with a 3.0 or better grade point average.
Collectively, the 16 teams, about 300 student-athletes, sported a 2.96 GPA for the fall semester which ended in December.
