 NHL Player Biographies-Bobby Bauer
Never a league leader during those seasons, he nonetheless caught the attention of the Bruins management and he was brought up for the final game of the 1936-37 where he scored his first NHL goal and earned a spot for good with the Bruins.
Nagging shoulder injuries forced Bauer to retire from the NHL at the end of the 1947 season.
The Bruins claimed him from Syracuse in the ithe IAHL Inter-League Draft in 1935 and was sent to the Boston Cubs in 1935-36.

Dumart was signed by the Bruins as a free agent on October 9, 1935 and played just one game for Boston in the 1935-36 season, spending most of the year with the Boston Cubs of the Can-Am League.
The trio became the first line in the history of the NHL to finish in the top three spots of the league's scoring race in 1939-40, as Dumart finished second overall to Schmidt with 22 goals and 43 points that season.
He played through the 1953-54 season and finished his NHL and Bruins career with 211 goals and 218 assists for 429 points in 772 career games.

He spent the rest of the 1935-36 season with the Detroit Olympics of the IAHL.
The 1936-37 season was Sherf's most memorable as he played with the AHL's Pittsburgh Hornets, but he was called up by the Wings for the playoffs to help defend their Stanley Cup championship.
American born, Sherf played hockey for the University of Michigan in the 1934-35 season and went on to play in the NHL the following year when he signed as a free agent with the Red Wings for one game.

He helped the Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup in 1932, and he led or tied for the NHL lead in goal-scoring five times between 1930-31 and 1935-36.
A member of the Toronto Marlboros Memorial Cup-winning team of 1928-29, Charlie Conacher entered the NHL with the Toronto Maple Leafs the following season.

However, it was just a minor setback as the Bruins won their division for the 2nd straight season with a 26-13-5 record.
However in the playoffs the Bruins would fall in a 5th game overtime again losing to the Toronto Maple Leafs in a series that included 4 overtime games including the longest game in NHL history at 104 minutes.

A graduate of the Western Kootenay Hockey League's Rossland Ramblers, Pratt joined Pacific Coast Hockey League's Portland Buckaroos in 1928-29 and spent two seasons with the team before signing as a free agent with the Boston Bruins in November of 1930.
The Edinburgh, Scotland native began the 1930-31 season with the Canadian-American Hockey League's Boston Cubs before joining the Bruins after playing in only five games with the Cubs.
