Ok so i haven't got many photos of inside the 1938 TS but this photos are of a recient trip to London's transport museum in Covent garden, it is well worth a visit if you are a fan of 1938 TS as they have a carriage that you can go in and look around.
If you aren't then they have plenty of other locomotives and tube stock which may interest you.
They used light bulbs instead of more modern floresant lighting and wood furnishings instead of plastic, and like a say you can examine this for yourself at the london transport museum.
