The Country Music Hall of Fame is a museum at 222 Fifth Avenue South in Nashville, Tennessee, United States.
In 1963, the CMA announced that a Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum was to be built on Music Row in Nashville.
The Music Row location of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum was closed December 31, 2000.

In the 1990s (The decade from 1990 to 1999) however, "alternative country" came to refer to a disparate group of musicians and singers operating outside the traditions and industry of mainstream country music.
The first is traditional American folk music and styles, the music of working people, preserved and celebrated by practitioners such as Woody Guthrie (United States folk singer and songwriter (1912-1967)), Hank Williams (United States country singer and songwriter (1923-1953)) and The Carter Family (additional info and facts about The Carter Family).

The "Red" and "Blue" Beatles CDs are testament to the genius of the band's music and are an excellent overview and a great place to start for those uninitiated (if there are such people) with the greatest band in history.
Of course there are numbers missing, but that's because this band, the best, put out such great music and in such great quantity.
Great vocals, piano and guitar, plus Ringo's incredible drum fills and the best musical interlude of any song ever makes me wish that it was longer.
