		The new lineup that Fleetwood Mac successfully unveiled with their eponymous 1975 album became even more successful with the multi-platinum Rumours, which was the band's most celebrated album and one of the best-selling albums of all time.
		It was the core and insperation of the album.
		The sad thing about this album is that one of the greatest songs ever written by Stevie Nicks would not appear on this album.

		The albums title is a reference to the year that two members of the band were born and the release of star wars,and its no surprise that the album has a few star wars references,not that im a fan of the star wars series but hey it pays to know a thing or two.
		Dubbed as their best album to date, 1977 is packed full of musical gems such as the hit single “Girl From Mars”, which for me is Ash’s signature song and best work.
		Musically this is an album of high quality, and whilst it’s not my favourite of the Ash albums (I prefer their more recent “Free All Angels” release) it’s still worthy of a place in your CD collection.

		Third album in and they're still playing their brand of metal-punk-pop where catchy songs and cartoon lyrics rule the day.
		The album opens in a cacophony of screams 'you can't do it its never been done before' (Birds) but you know it has, a thousand times by a thousand different American bands.

		To judge only from the guitar squall that opens "1977," Ash's second album, the band prefers noise to melody.
		That it did on its debut album, "Trailer," but the balance has shifted on this disc, a top-five hit in Britain.
		Owen Morris, who co-produced Oasis' "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?," gives the album a brighter sheen, but he hasn't dampened the band's spirits.

		The bands second proper album 'Nu-Clear Sounds' was again produced by Owen Morris with the help of Chris Kimsey, and again like '1977' ranged from raw rock like 'Projects', 'Death Trip 21', 'Fortune Teller' and 'Numbskull' to the beautiful 'Folksong', 'Low Ebb', and the gorgeous 'I'm Gonna Fall'.
		Despite suffering from a bout of writers block during the writing of the album, it was released to critical acclaim.
