		Television drama utilizes reality and all the importance and appeal of reality, but shares none of the responsibilities of bringing reality to a mass audience.
		We watch television when we are alone and together, to laugh and to cry, and to learn and to avoid learning.

		The movie Fame had one gay character, Montgomery, and he was quickly written out at the start of the television series.
