Golden Raspberry Awards (popularly known as 'Razzies') are alternative awards to the 'Oscars', Golden Globes and BAFTAs.

When Paul Verhoeven won this award for Showgirls in 1996, he was the first nominee in the history of the event to attend the presentation, and he accepted his trophy with good grace.
