		Such a strong technical treatment or assessment of aviation paintings by the audience probably reflects that aviation art should be regarded as illustration rather than fine art, where aesthetics is the primary concern.
		It's the only painting I know in aviation art where technical accuracy is ignored in favor of aesthetics.
		Art can produce an emotional response in the observer, however.

	The Art of Dying (1991)
		Plot: LAPD detective Jack is upset when a young teenage runaway he has tried to help is found murdered.
		His investigation puts him onto the trail of film director Rosco Went who is recruiting aspiring actors and actresses and getting them to enact death scenes for his magnum opus ‘The Art of Dying’ before killing them on camera.
		With Jack on his tail, Rosco then targets and abducts Holly, Jack’s mystery lover, where he intends to make her reenact the death of Joan of Arc, the part she played in a high-school stage production, this time for real.

	Donald Teague (1897-1991) - Fine Art Dealers Association
		Born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1897, Donald Teague studied at the Art Students League under Bridgman, Cornwell, and DuMond, and remained in New York until moving to California in 1939, the year after he was elected to the prestigious National Academy of Design.
		Though his reputation was originally built on his paintings featuring themes of the American Old West, Teague was also a tireless traveler who would never be found far from his sketchpad.
