Most Valuable Network - Twins Killings
As most Twins’ fans are aware, Terry Ryan has been associated with the Twins starting in 1986 as scouting director, promoted to VP of player personnel in 1992 and taking over complete control of Twin baseball opertions after Andy MacPhail departed after the ‘94 season.
If Twins’ ownership and fans are content to just “be competitive” then there is little doubt Ryan is the man. But if the goal is to win a championship, then he is not the one to take us the next step.
Whether he succeeded in revamping the Twins’ roster sufficiently will go a long ways to establishing his legacy as GM and perhaps the Twins’ future in the Twin Cities.
