Malaysia, the host of the last Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur in 1998, might be forced to leave some of its team members at home due to an outbreak of the mosquito-borne illness Dengue fever.
The Times reported that medals won at the event would count and be "recognized by the Commonwealth Games Federation." Inquiries to the directors of the competition have yet to verify this statement.
