Fear is not a word in Dimosthenis Tabakos’ vocabulary, which is just as well in a sport where an athlete needs to beat stress.  The Greek gymnast showed yet again what he is made of at the 2003 World Championships in Anaheim (California).
In 1997, he won the bronze medal in the rings at the Mediterranean Games in Bari and came sixth at the World Championships in Lausanne.
He took up gymnastics in 1984 and in 1990 came second in the pommel horse event at the Balkan Games.
