	2000 World Series - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The 2000 World Series (a "Subway Series") featured a crosstown matchup between the two-time defending champion New York Yankees and the New York Mets, with the Yankees winning 4 games to 1 for their third straight championship and 26th overall.
		This was the first Subway Series since 1956 and the only one since the Dodgers and Giants moved to California.
		The World Series winning RBI was driven in by Yankees utility man and fan favorite Luis Sojo.

		I have also been lucky enough to be part of the persistent 7,000 fans cheering the Tigers on to OMAHA and the College World Series Championship.
