The American was the first debutant to reach a year-end final since Sebastian Grosjean was runner-up to Lleyton Hewitt at the 2001 Tennis Masters Cup Sydney.
To finish off the season by winning the Masters Cup is really, for me. It's obviously the perfect ending to an incredible season.
