Roman forts in West Wales are generally thought to date to the 70s AD when the Flavian conquest finally prevailed.
During the last season of work (2003), they excavated what had appeared to be one of the many cairns but which could well be a Bronze Age house.
Considerable evidence of manganese mining survives at Egryn, although the main source of magnesium in Wales is the much larger Rhiw and Benallt mine in Lleyn.

Two meetings were held at opposite ends of Wales in Llandudno and Swansea.
The task is huge, but I hope the RSCM can be of service whether it’s in the city, the valleys or in the rural uplands, of what is still the “Land of Song”.
There was a very positive dialogue, and much common ground between the aspirations of the RSCM in Wales and of the Bishops for good music in churches.

This Order brings into force the provisions of section 67 of the Water Act 2003; sections 69 and 75 of the Act in relation to Wales; and consequential amendments and repeals.

In a catchment area which experiences considerable problems, this small garden has made a huge difference to the children, parents and teachers, not only within the School but to the community beyond.
