World Championship Pool 2004 is a game that could have been as good as World Championship Snooker 2004.
Therefore, the game gave me $250,000 for winning, which was enough to get the best cue, the best clothes, the best table and all of the ball designs, which kind of meant that half of the premise of the game (purchasing locked items) is done away with, without you having to win a match.
These final matches come as a bit of a shock to the system as the real-life players are so much better than the fictional characters, that you suddenly have to learn to play with skill and have to worry constantly about the cue-ball's position as you would at the highest level.
