The Australian's glory would not last long as Rubens Barrichello came out next and blasted home a lap of 1m24.482s - the fastest ever of the Albert Park circuit, and 1.3s quicker than Webber.

This is as close to an absolutely perfect race that any mortal human can come.
After recording it, I watched the first 5 laps, FFWD to the middle, Ferraris with a wider gap and Kimi not there, FFWD to the end and MS had lapped almost the whole field, this in about 12 minutes.

EA have done a pretty good job with the track though it is noticeable that camber braking in the first and second corners is debatable due to the inability of the software to model the friction of the sideways forces on the walls of the tires.
