The cap for the 2005 season was set at $85.5 million, and at $102 million for 2006 instead of scheduled $94.5 million.
By 1966, the leagues agreed to merge as of the 1970 season.

 Jason Maas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For the 2000 CFL season, Maas signed with the Edmonton Eskimos, the coaching staff intending to use him as a backup and (with Dan Crowley) the holder on field goal and extra point attempts.
The Eskimos were, at the time, one of the league's deepest teams at the quarterback position, with Maas, Crowley, and incumbent starter Nealon Greene all eventually assuming starting jobs somewhere in the CFL during their careers.
Former offensive co-ordinator and new head coach Danny Maciocia had led Maas's offense during his 2004 season, but he also knew that the starting quarterback had to be decisively selected and stuck to.

 Jason Tucker - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Despite missing this season, he was drafted in the sixth round, 167th overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 1998 NFL Draft.
Tucker was released by the Cowboys before the 2001 NFL season, and by 2002 he had made the roster of the Canadian Football League's Edmonton Eskimos.
In 2004, Tucker broke the 1,000 yards receiving mark for the first time, racking up 1,632 yards for the fourth-highest total in franchise history.

Due to the fact that the season starts on a Thursday this year and I usually need a couple of days to get in touch with everyone regarding their roster moves at the start of the season, I’ve set the due date for Opening Day Rosters for Midnight on Labor Day.
If someone else picks him up during the season or after the season is over, he is considered a veteran and cannot be placed on taxi-squad, even though he has not played a game.
If during the course of the season, a taxi squad player is traded to another team, the active team roster cannot exceed 16 players and the total roster cannot exceed 19.
