The 2004 Canadian Grand Prix was a Formula One race held on June 13, 2004 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
The Canadian Grand Prix 2004 was one of drama, but at the finish line Michael Schumacher took his 77th career victory, his 7th win of the 2004 season, and his 7th win in Canada.
The Renault F1s were fast off the line as was expected, but a suspension failure put Jarno Trulli out of the race before he'd reached the second corner.

I was looking forward to this year’s Canadian F1 race even more than usual because it now forms the first half of a fabulous F1 North American “double-header” as the United States Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway now takes place on the weekend after the Montreal event.
Back in the 1970s and early 1980s, the Grand Prix in Canada (at the Mosport circuit near Toronto) was paired with the U.S. Grand Prix at Watkins Glen in upstate New York in autumn.
Then in the 1980s, the Canadian race, now in Montreal in June, was followed by the U.S. Grand Prix in Detroit.
