We seek art works that, using multimedia, explore issues of cultural identity, cultural awareness, and the boundaries created or enforced through the use of multimedia technology.
Art exhibition submissions should consist of a one to two page statement that includes artistic motivation, project description, and technical details.

The exhibition is currently slated for next spring, according to UBS, and will highlight works from the former PaineWebber art collection, which passed into the hands of UBS when it acquired the American financial institution in 2000.

Finally, Pittsburgh's arts community made favorable impressions on participants in the first National Performing Arts Convention held here in June, and on those attending a first-rate symposium initiated by Terry Smith of the University of Pittsburgh that brought world-renowned theorists in to discuss "Modernity and Contemporaneity: Antinomies of Art and Culture After the 20th Century."
This 18th contemporary fiber art biennial was organized by the Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh and it traveled to the Museum of Arts and Design, New York City -- a high compliment.

Kinnear Place Park is tucked into a small, green corner near the base of Queen Anne Hill, and is the only art site visible from the main commercial area of Uptown.
A narrow path winds through a grove of large elm trees, inviting walkers begin the Treewalk and continue on towards art sites further up the hill.

A perception seemed to emerge of a large reduction in playa art for 2004, although the numbers show about 50 fewer projects than the previous year.
