Mehrdad Hadighi and Shadi Nazarian's Studio for Architecture was selected by Wallpaper* as one of twenty-five most intriguing, innovative and intrepid architects from all over the world.
As a follow-up to the Wallpaper* selection and last year's Architectural Record "Design Vanguard" selection, the Buffalo News named the studio in their "Honor Roll." Sunday, 19 November 2006, was the last day of the Venetian displays of the 10th International Architecture Exhibition, which had a great success among the public: the Biennale venues in Venice and Palermo (where the City-Port exhibition closed on 14 January 2007) totalled 130,226 visits.
The Architecture section of the Venice Biennale was established in 1980, although a few exhibitions had taken place since 1975 within the Art section.
