On Monday 14 November 2005, I was fortunate to have a day off work and I went to the 2006 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix Launch at Federation Square in Melbourne City.
The launch was to formally begin at midday but I arrived a half hour early, just in time to see Mark Webber's photo shoot in Sir Stirling Moss' 1956 Maserati.
Last weekend, I volunteered for the 2005 Foster's Australian Grand Prix, my 6th year as part of the medical team.
