 CBC Sports: Ottawa Renegades for sale
ttawa Renegades for the 2006 season is still unclear, with CFL commissioner Tom Wright stating in a conference call that the league is "actively marketing" the team to prospective owners.
Ottawa hasn't posted a winning record since returning to the CFL in 2002 and season-ticket sales having dwindled to roughly 2,000.
If the CFL helps out the Renegades, it would have to fund the troubled franchise from training camp in June all the way through to the completion of the 18-game regular-season schedule in October.

This past season, the McMaster Marauders moved three of their playoff games from on-campus Les Prince Field to Ivor Wynne Stadium and saw great success, with 13,000 fans in attendance for the OUA championship game, the Yates Cup and close to 12,000 attending the national semi-final, the Mitchell Bowl.
