CARLTON has received a welcome piece of good news in a disappointing AFL season, with full-forward Brendan Fevola signing a three-year contract that will keep him at the club until the end of 2008.
Fevola, 24, the Blues' leading goalkicker for the past two seasons, has booted another 33 goals in 11 matches in 2005.
The Blues have struggled since winning the pre-season Wizard Cup, winning just two games to sit last on the ladder.
