  IPC governing board meeting opens in Beijing
The 46th meeting of the International Paralympic Committee Governing Board opened in Beijing on Sunday, with a few important appointments expected to be announced.
Apart from listening to work reports by the organizers of the Beijing 2008 Summer Paralympics, Vancouver 2010 Winter Paralympics and London 2012 Summer Paralympics, the IPC governing board will discuss sports-related issues during its three-day meeting, said Craven.
The IPC organizes the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games, and serves as the International Federation for 12 sports, for which it supervises and co-ordinates the World Championships and other competitions.
